Whats the best cooler for drinks in the boat?

Tall, soft, or a traditional cooler or what ever you use and where do you put it on your boat?:cool-smiley-011:

I have two red hard-sided coolers on wheels. They are easy to "roll" from the truck to the boat, and they fit perfectly under the bolsters.

This one is blue, but mine are red.

What's with all these drinking threads? Maybe we should start a "Booze Forum" for all of you.:D

AO soft side cooler. I love mine.

The cube coolers like Clay posted (mine is the smaller version) fit great in the cabin and don't rub the seats when I open and close them. Just bought an AO soft cooler and am liking it so far. Ice Chests always go in the cabin unless its just two of us on the boat, then I'll leave it in cockpit.

Get the three pack from American Outdoors. You won't be disappointed.

I have a 48 and a 24 can soft side from american and they are great. Easy to carry and fit anywhere. They will make them for you in any color to match your boat and put any logo on them you want

American Outdoors is the last cooler you will ever buy. Ice lasts longer than any hard sided cooler I have ever had and it wont scratch, sweat or bleed colors. They are great.

Check the measurements before you buy. I've got one and I can't get it through the cabin door. Its wider than the standard rectangular ones.

I'd go with a soft cooler from american outdoors. I just bought 5 of the 48's for groomsman gifts.

AGREED AGREED AGREED!!!!!!

We have tried seemingly every soft side cooler on the market over the past 5 years and AO's are the BEST!!!!!!

I have two for the Motion (with custom logos) and one for our lake boat (with the Nordic logo). There have been times when we have been out onf the lake boat, came into the house and did not empty the cooler, and the next morning, there was still ice floating and the beers were cold. I have had mine for about 18 months with NO PROBLEMS. No leaks, no tears, no problems. I know I sound like a sales rep for them, but they are hands down the best coolers I have ever purchased.

An Active Thunder boat owner and business sponsor of the Jammin' on the James Poker Run bought EVERY boat a cooler; two years ago. The PR packages actually came in an AO cooler.

Thanks again Stan!

Iv got about 500 foot of front yard and 200 ft of dock. One fo those soft bags would be more work then I do the rest of the day lugiing 2 case and ice out with me.

The hard cooler with the wheels is the tick for me. Plus they are way easier to drain and wash out when you get to drunk to take them out of the boat from the wwekend before.

I like the wheels idea, but I like the Soft too. I'm going to try the AO I'm tired of boat bites from the hard cooler.

Go ahead and get the AO coolers, and buy a fold-flat luggage cart with the 6" tall wheels on it. You will use the cart more often than you think and it stows easily in the boat.

http://cruzincooler.com/ I need one of these :)
I really liked my AO softside, unitl it was stolen:angry-smiley-038:

Great Idea!!:D

I use two of the 48 pack AO's, they're embroidered with the DCB logo on the side, just like us DCB guys like. They are awesome IMO, and I can set them on the bow while I climb up without worrrying about the coolers scratching my gel. The only feature I wish they had was a drain. I don't know how you could make one work without leaking.
