I have stayed with Merc 20/50 oil & filters. Don't know if I would get better performance if I switched after 250 hrs.

Anyone have any input on that???

royal purple in everything, merc. filters

this is what I run as well.

We use Merc 20w/50 oil and Merc filters change every 20 hrs or so, so far 280 hrs and no problems

I used mobil one, no complaints at all. I switched to Royal Purple. I know people in racing who say they are showing slighty better numbers on the dyno. I like the Wix filters, they make a anti- drain back filter that if you are quick enough does not dump alot of the oil all over things when you remove it.
