What do you think of the 38 sea ray sun sport? I know they are not speed hogs. I would think 50 would be ok and still have a great cabin.

I hope to make it. Boat is stripped. Paint finished up in two weeks.

I owned a 380ss for 7 years and kept it on a trailer. I towed it to havasu and mead and newport beach every weekend. The only thing it does not have is a rear cabin. Mine had 454 magnum's and would run 48 to 49mph. Best boat I ever owned. I wish Sea Ray would bring a new one to the market. I even ran the catalina ski race with it every year because it really laid down the water for the skier. If you want to know anything at all about that boat call me. 909-816=1101

Thanks. How did it pull? Would a 1 ton be enough?

I used a one ton and then a topkick. Its alot of boat to pull. The one ton can pull it but if you have to stop in a hurry bring an extra pair of undies

I have a 1993 380ss on a trailer, with new 496 ho mags, bravo 3s 24 pitch 4600 rpm / 56mph. tow it with a chev 1 ton dually, gas 454, a bit slow at the start but no problem after that.
