Oh, and then the trailer tag is extra as well
Its not classified as personal property tax, but essentially it is and it only applies to motor vehicles. It is listed as a "motor vehicle tax" that gets added to your annual vehicle registration. It slowly goes away as the vehicle gets older. My mv tax on the Mustang is only about $3.

Knot-Right, if you buy a boat out of state. Is there still no sales tax collected in RI?
