PWC Section on the site??

I think we need a PWC and Jetboat section for the site. I will sponser and help moderate it, I think it would be great for the site because most members also have PWC or Jetboats. What do you think Board Gods?????

www.WMFwatercraft.com if you need to contact me.

ReggieRaft 04-16-2008 05:49 PM

I have two jet skis and our boat club NJPPC has two jet ski poker runs.

WMF 04-16-2008 05:51 PM

Well if I can ever help out please let me know. I would be glad to help you guys out!

bojoe2 04-16-2008 07:48 PM

We host 2 jet ski poker runs. We started with 1 and had an over whelming response from our members and now we have 2 and also picked up some new members who just have skis. It is a great day had by all. we run it like a regular poker run in the bay. www.NJPPC.com :D

WMF 04-16-2008 08:42 PM

AIR TIME 04-16-2008 09:40 PM

Lake Lice oh my god there goes the neighborhood:hitfan::grinser010::p

socalstone 04-16-2008 09:56 PM

Yeah bring it on.

Have a 454 jetboat, 3 seater Seadoo GTX, and just got a stand-up kawi 800sx-r.

Not a big fan of pwc's in general, but have always loved the stand-ups.
Can't wait to try it out when the lake warms up.

Rebel_Heart 04-16-2008 10:31 PM

I own 2 Yamis. Ride mine first thing in the morning, they are put back on the lifts when the big stuff start to come out. I belong to another site for the waverunners, but would welcome one here, also.

wantingmore 04-16-2008 10:41 PM

I don't think they'd fit in.

OL40SVX 04-16-2008 11:34 PM

Chris288 04-17-2008 08:07 AM

The Offshoreonly PWC equivalent is WWW.Greenhulk.net anything you could ever want to know or discuss about PWC is already there...

NJgr8ful 04-17-2008 08:07 AM

Not a good idea, but thanks, does not belong on OSO. We've got em too, but don't want them part of this site. How about PWConly dot com ;)

Brad Zastrow 04-17-2008 09:24 AM

Offshore "ONLY"

Westcoast 04-17-2008 10:33 AM

No Jet fleas here

PARADOX 04-17-2008 10:40 AM

Nope.. OSO.
There is enough BS already on here. I like PWS's but need to talk about it? In the bilge you go.
How about a H2O SKI section? Tubing? snorkle? Dive? We all do many things. Everything has a place. my .02

Wobble 04-17-2008 10:40 AM

why not, every boat house on the river here has one or more, I have one and plan to get two more.

So what about those who dont go "offshore" boating? Can we still be here?

This could qualify for offshore like!:evilb:

Thanks to Sharkey for the pic!

Michael Garibay 04-17-2008 10:47 AM

What will happen is that you put a Jet Ski and/or Jet Boat "section", people will randomly post in other sections i.e. "I need a new pump liner in my 1999 Sea Doo XP limited" in the Prop Talk section .Or "whats the best pipe for a Yamaha Superjet 701cc" in the General Q&A section. Or "how can I put a trailer hitch on my 1994 Geo Metro to tow my 1977 Kawasaki 440 on a Home Depot fold up trailer I bought for $69" in the Trucks, trailers and transportation section. Mike

Thats what the moderators are for, they can move them where they belong.

pkspx 04-17-2008 10:53 AM

jetskis and jetboat questions should just qualify as "General Boating" discussion forum. Site doesn't have enough traffic for them plus it's an all offshore boating forum.

Pesky Varmint 04-17-2008 11:00 AM

As an owner of a 35 Nordic with twin 575SCi
as well as a Kawasaki Ultra 250, I agree that
you should leave jet skis to Greenhulk.net.

Keep this website on topic. You won't see an
offshore power boat section on Greenhulk.

But I love both of those machines (but not as
much as I love my dogs).

mr.boat 04-17-2008 11:11 AM

joke, right?

friggin jetskis....welcome to hell.

Hollowpoint 04-17-2008 11:14 AM

Plenty of PWC sites - This is OFFSHORE ONLY!

WMF 04-17-2008 11:21 AM

Sorry about that, it was just a thought, I thought it might help out some members, please dont throw me under the bus!!!

This is a good point. General Boating section already works for anything and everything. ...pretty much how it is now anyway. Prolly better to leave well enough alone.

Coincidentally, Just Read the thread on the high-horse prop driven pwc's yesterday... Didn't even know hardcore guys were doing that. Pretty wild stuff.

pkspx 04-17-2008 01:26 PM

Majority of the traffic is at these; pwctoday.com or the sbt forums

TexomaPowerboater 04-17-2008 01:52 PM

Sorry apache bill - I've got a PWC and I still don't like the idea.

pullmytrigger 04-17-2008 03:52 PM

a huge NO

WMF 04-17-2008 07:40 PM

Ok I got it no PWC section!, sorry about brining this up:D
