Default Sleeping at the Wal-Mart (trailering)

Most of our weekends will be spent on Lake Michigan, but also want to plan some "road trips" to other ports in Mid-west.
So far on the calender are LOTO, Lake St Clair and Door County WI.
I've not been to KY for looong time, also wondered about Lake Erie or 1000 isles or what else? Where do you guys like?

Photo from last yr, we left house after work on a thurs eve headed to LOTO, pulled into a Wal-mart on other side of St. Louis about 1am. We both crawled in the boat & went to sleep until morning. Easy drive from there & we were in the water by mid-morning Friday. We then stayed until Monday & yanked out. Great boating weekend, only missed two days at work.

Lake St. Clair is a blast. Spend most of my weekends at Gull Island. You should try to go the weekend of http://www.jobbienooner.com
or the red bull air races.

I read they actually encourage people to spend the nights there, and some even send out coffee in the mornings, to people who stayed overnight.

Make your next trip to Kelly's Island on Lake Erie.

That looks like the Wentzville Wally World. That is the Walmart that we shop at. Not a bad pull from there takes me about 2 1/2 hours with the boat.

If you make it to Maryland, look us we. I appreciate you stopping by in St. Joe last year!
