I agree.

Anyone who spends that much time trying to protect the parts of the boat that are designed to be used should put their boat in a bubble inside a hurricane proof building and never use it.

The only time I use towels to cover parts of a boat is when the part is too hot from the sun (or to keep a part from getting too hot)

Just buy a Nor-Tech 50' with a removable center cushion!
