Default Swim Steps on 24x7 Boats

Anyone have pics of swim steps on their 24x7 boats? We need to add some steps this year, and we'd like to have an idea of where you guys are mounting yours with respect to the water line. Also what sizes and do you have a ladder attached. Functionality issues would be helpful too. I've been looking at swim platforms on some of these boats, and because of the radius on the rub rail, the straight platforms look like a square peg in a round hole to me.

I'm planning on buying one of the self retracting ladders.

I`m going through the exact same thing with my 24x7. I found a swim platform off a 24 Pantera, but after studying the photos, I`ve decided it would not look right with my curved transom rub rail.
I know Dana makes some real nice (and kinda pricey in my opinion) steps, but I`d love to see some mounted on a 24x7 hull.

Those look little bouy. What size are those? As far as height placement, are they about even with the gimbal housing? How high do they sit out of the water at rest?

Ouch!!! Nothing any guy likes to hear.

I think they are 20x12, or there abouts. Not alot of room on the transom of a 24/7.
I haven't even had the boat in the water since I bough it last fall, it wasn't a project boat, but me being me turned it into one.
So, functionality, I've heard good things from the previous three owners (all on the board here) but I don't have any personal experience as of yet.

Sorry! No intent to insult your "step size"

I'm hoping to get something a little bigger on there so we can have the aqua step ladder and a little room to sit on. That is my wife's request anyway!
