Anyone seen gas prices on the water yet??

We're paying higher prices on the water, yet the marina's and/or gas stations on the water don't pay road tax on the fuel they pump so in theory you would think it would be cheaper than on land...
Some years ago the marina had a pump that was located on land and they had to shut land pump down so they didn't have to pay the "road tax."

When I ran a gas dock with at friend there weren't any environmental/marine taxes that i was aware of, this was circa 1996 though.... It was still more expensvie in comparison, now it's even higher.

I can't imagine what insurance is like for a marina pumping gas. Down here in FL it must be rediculous. Plus if you consider the volume that a marina does versus your corner station, I'm sure the marina has to add a much bigger margin since they don't do the volume.
