I have torn up more then my share of engines but I have been known to run on ragid edge so when they tear up I am not surprised. Most, if not all of my damage is the cause of detonation.

You'll also have to deal with higher idle speeds, fouling, etc. The Achille's heel with blowers is fuel system problems that lean you out and smoke the engine.

would you call under 630 lift= 725 to 750hp not radical/ but solid roller over 700 lift radical/ or anything over 600 lift radical? just seeing whats radical to you guys, I have had good luck with the just under 630 lift in cams for 12yrs on 3 different motors now looking at hyd rollercam, head work and new intake and going from 670ish to 750ish I hope I have to much comp 9 1/2 to 1 for blower thought about a pro charger or 10/71 low boost. but I only broke one spring stud, and one loose posi lock on a 650hp motor and the other was when it had stock heads at 590hp posi lock came off valve got hit. thats it I had more troubles with my 330hp motor stock:D

Hp 500 efi, Vortech, 5 lbs. boost, 270hrs. No problems.

630 isn't too bad if you've got all premium parts in the valve train. 700 is radical. Plus, that 700 is going to come with a ramp profile that mashes those valves open, not a nice gradual one like on a hydraulic roller.

9.5 is more compression than you might find to be ideal. It's still workable. I'd look long and hard at an intercooler. Unless you are running close to 600 cid, the 10-71 is overkill. It's going to run so slow at idle you'll have fuel puddling issues. Aluminum heads on your motors now?
