update-

The trustees and I spent an hour this afternoon with the branch mgr. of the Bank Of America locatation that Nate fraudulently cashed the checks at.
I believe we had a productive discussion. He will run it up the flagpole and get back to us hopefully before the weekend with the banks position.
We made it clear that this could be a good opportunity for the bank to do what is right and get some good publicity out of it as well.
We will keep you posted...
Thanks to all of you for your words of support!
Hans

easy decision to make on the Banks part. They bought MBNA.

I've had Master Card since 1990, maybe time to cancel if they dont step up.

God bless Jennifer, she must be a very strong person. All that have stepped up on her behalf are an inspiration and your good doings will be returned.

When the time comes please give info for donations so that thru my company I may help her to ensure her goals.

A lot of people like yourself have enquired about making a donation to help Jennifur secure her future. As soon as we get this fixed ( hopefully in just a day or so) and the banks step up and the Trust funds are restored, we will feel much better. We will soon be in a better position to accept donations on Jennifur's behalf. Watch for new developments.

Hans,

Any update from the bank or brokerage firm? Did they get back to you?

Very sad and thanks to our OSO brothers looking after this young lady!

Was Jennifer able to continue with her second semester?

Never set up a trust with bank of america. Our firm was a trustee of a trust and had a trust account with BOA. We authorized a tansaction that occured just after the date of death of a beneficiary and the new beneficiary contested the disbursement, which is fine. BUT rather than go through the right channels the bank just withdrew the money out of the trustee's personal BOA account and didn't even bother to notify. It was hell getting it back and they lost a couple of our accounts as a result. Now we use Frost on most of our trust accounts.
