Sorry,not a boat question,but a board question
Hey guys or ladies, can someone help in resizeing something that is animated. NICKSLICK,Jefferyboy, you guys seem to have it figured out. I have a lot of animated stuff and its all to big. When I shrink it,its no longer animated. HELP!!!!!!
THANKS |
The problem is that image processing software drops the additional frames when you resize. Animated gifs are actually multiple image (frame) files - just like a movie. There's no easy way to resize an animated gif. You have to get a gif animator and copy each frame to a image processing program (like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc), resize it and then paste it back into the gif animator one frame at a time. The good news is that most small animated gifs are only about 6 - 8 frames. Mine is only 6 frames.
good luck. - jeff |
