Default Team Miss GEICO -The power of OSO- Record Search

ScottyB and I need your help in locating records. We've seen what you guys are capable of when you dig into something. There is no real clearing house for distance records. Most have been lost for one reason or another (moving, hurricanes etc) . APBA unfortunatly lost a bunch of data.

We are searching for any POINT to POINT (One city or location to another) records currently being held .

ALSO, we would like to know which Point to Point records you guys would like to see created and or set

We have a 6000HP beast burnin a hole in our pockets and we want to use it! Were on a mission to bring OFFSHORE POWERBOATING to AMERICAS doorstep.

ANY help locating recorded history of runs will be helpful.

Regard's

Scotty and Marc

Vegas to LA would be a mofo

A summer run from Miami to NYC would be neat because you could fly-by all the popular beache locations and literally have thousands of spectators from the whole east coast. Most of them have most likely never seen anything like that. Do it in July when all the beaches are packed. You could also tie some patriotic stuff by ending at the Statue of Liberty.

Just an idea Scott

That sounds like a great idea. But you need to start in Tampa Bay so I can see you guys take off. Plus it is in your backyard, there could be a huge kick-off party. You leaving the channelside area with all the mons-venus girls lined up cheering you off...

Hope the link works.
It describe the record run from Chicago to Detroit, up Lk michigan and down Lake Huron by Walter Payton and crew. 700 plus miles at 70 mph.

Chicago to Detroit..

That would be an accomplishment.

My Buddy Lilly tried to set the record in the early nineties. He said he experienced every kind of sea including glassed over 8 footers.
