ok if you want to get good miles per gallon go diesel hustler. I know that if you have to worry about it you cant afford it you have to pay to play! We can burn a good 150 gal an hour @ $ 4.50 a gal thats $ 675 dollars an hour

It agree a Diesel Hustler would be nice. 675 dollars and hour for fuel is a little much for my wallet. I glad you can afford it. The 50 is an awesome boat!

The only thing worse than gas mlg on our boats in the patron consumption per/hr at Blue Martini.

Being a New Yorker you will relate to this train of thought.

Think of boating as an inexpensive recreational endevor, as compared to Mr. Spitzers recently discovered passtime. We could run the better part of the season and have hours of enjoyment on what Eliot spent to get his rocks off once, which likely only lasted a few minutes. Eliot should have taken up boating, would have been far cheaper than hoes.

Powerboat lists Nor-Tech 3900 Super Vee at:
40mph - 2.6mpg
50mph - 2.5mpg
60mph - 1.9mpg
70mph - 2mpg
80mph - 1.9mpg

with twin Yanmar 6LY3-ETP's.

I made the mistake of looking at the smartcraft last weekend Not sure where the throttle was, but it said 86.4 gph per engine
