Good Morning,
Isn't there a base formula for determining fuel burn something like
(Horsepower x .55 lbs fuel) / weight of 1 gallon of fuel = gallons per hour.
Now if I have that part correct (highly unlikely) how would you deduct for hull/outdrive inefficiencies? Is there a method where you could use calculated prop slip? Hmmmmm the fun factor of this falls somewhere between a trip to the Dentist and Christmas shopping at the mall.
Thanks,
Rick

Hi!
Changing from 2 x Merc 2.5 EFI SS consuming 1,25 mpg (90 litre per hour at 40 knots) to a single Vrod 350 Sci consuming 4,5 mpg (43 litre per hour at 45 knots). A new world for next year.
And you pay 8,55 USD per gallon in Norway.
