I have been down that road myself went from a 27 Magnum to a 38 Silverton "After 2 years I had enough" Sold the floating barge and got back into go fast.
So to make the wife happy I have a Donzi 33ZX has a cabin with all the whistles AC/Heat Microwave, Fridge, TV but runs 78mph a hell of lot better then 28mph in the Silverton.

That is the main reason I bought the Black Thunder, it has all the amenities of the cruiser but still fast enough to stay with a pack of sport boats. Not ready myself to make the plunge to a full blown cruiser so will stay with this for a while.

We did the switch in 04 went from a sweet Pantera to a 31 Formula PC, what a mistake. Trying to talk the wife into letting me get another Pantera:D:D:D , hasnt worked yet.

Been there, down that. My Donzi Express Cruiser was nice but there was no adrenaline rush at 42 mph, and it took 5 minutes of being pinned to get there ! :D

You bought the right crossover boat, the 40SS you have still has a pair of blue motors in it! How fast is that thing anyway?

keep the hi po boat and buy a real barge and build a party house on it or just by a house boat, thats what me and a friend want to do next season and put it out on a mooring big enough to park our boats on each side. 35ft or bigger that needs some work so we hope.
