Lucille Turner Fountain
Lucille Turner Fountain, 90, of Tarboro, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008.Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Christopher Edmonston officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Tarboro.Mrs. Fountain was preceded in death by her husband R. M. Fountain.Survivors include two sons, Reginald Morton "Reggie" Fountain Jr. of Washington, and Theodore Turner "Bubba" Fountain of Vero Beach, Fla.; a brother, Paul "Sonny" Turner. of Charlotte; two grandsons, Wyatt Fountain of Greenville and R. M. Fountain III of Washington; a granddaughter, Sierra Nichole Fountain of Greenville; and five great-grandchildren.The family will received friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the home of Mrs. Fountain at 1101 Panola St. in Tarboro.Arrangements by Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro.Paid obituary.

Our Condolences to the Fountain family.

At the Worlds in Nov. I heard Reggie tell someone that he was flying home after the race on Wednesday to be with his mother and then back for the weekend. That is shows how devoted he was to his mother and our sport.

May she rest in peace.
