Which Logo
 

I designed this simple logo for letterhead, shirts etc...I decided I want to add to it to make it look more "in motion". Which of the 5 do you think looks best?

I kind of like 5 the best. looks cleanest. I voted for 4 tho, as 5 doesn't have your "motion wake line things" in any form. I think it looks most balanced without the lines.

i agree.. the bottom one #5

No question #5, those "motion" marks at the back of the boat are distracting and detract from the overall logo.

Number 5 looks good the problem is with the others you never want to make one side different then the other looks odd.

Your wife and all the others are right....# 5 is the winner.

5 is the best but it sucks when the wife is right and you have to tell her

3 looks more in motion but 5 looks the best (IMHO)

Here's my .02.:drink:

Lose the 'Inc' - the only people who care about that are your creditors- just adds visual clutter.

Italicizing the name gives it a feeling of motion.

Find another typeface for your secondary copy- cataneo swash is an inappropriate choice. (my opinion anyway- doesn't mix at all with the Kabel Bold)

One reason your motion marks didn't work is they are incongruent with the rest of the image. Instead of straight, blocky rectangles try using smooth swashes that harmonize with the type of line you are using with the boat graphic. (I would show ya, but I've used up my two cents worth...)

5 is the only way to go. Awsome logo

i like 5 best also. the one jay boat did looks good. nice and smooth, i think it gives it a feeling of speed also.

I'd like to work something out to have you send me it in formats that will allow my screen printer to make shirts and stuff.

I dont need the motion marks, as your design is much more appealing. You have made the permanent discount list for sure!!
