Apache 28 Brave? Sell it or Finish it!!!

I am thinking of putting my 28 Apache up for sale, but I just dont know what to do!!, I have alot of work left to do to finish the boat , and my season is short. I am afraid I will lose my Ass if I sell it like it is, it still needs work, but I dont know if I will have time to get it done so I can use it this summer. It really kills me to sell it because of all the money I spent and work I did, and i love the boat. I am not sure what to do, finish the boat or sell it, what do you think?

keep it, finish it, and enjoy it.

If you don't enjoy working on it and using it it is time to let her go.

Whats left?

I have to install all gauges, and throttles, redo motors( go Thru), and some other minor items. I work on customers boats all day and when it comes to my own I just dont have time! I think I just want something to run for the Summer, I just dont know.

I can relate....I found a partner to help cover my expences to restore mine. With him throwing money at the project it was like working on someone elses boat...and I had him pressureing me to finish the job.

Keep it.
For a new owner to get it up to where it should be, would cost $20-$30k to outsource all the work, and it wouldn't be finished for their season either. So I couldn't see getting much more than $30k for the boat.
So IMO, keep it. It's what you wanted and it's becoming your own.

Keep it. Drag some of our sorry asses over there to help you put it together. Will work for beer and pizza.

Is it in DE?

That sound great, it is located in Delaware, I will supply plent of beer, and whatever it takes. I am going to pull the left motor down this week, and see where the rust on the head came from. Thanks everyone.

Keep it, you haven't seen how she handles the rough water. IMO there is no other boat like it. Most of these restorations take in excess of 1 year. Your almost there, just be patient.
