I sent one off to the Senate Natural Resources Committee too.
Told them how the STMC called us "a bunch of go-fast radicals".

Good luck to us all.

Dean...It's good to see someone that can make a difference against "big government"..To bad your victory comes at the expense of Floridas State Marine Mammal..It's not STM that loses it's the manatee...You call the STM a bunch of radical nuts for their dissinformation that they spread..Take a look at this site..

Seems your local elected officials are spreading the same information on manatee deaths...Are they crazy nuts to???

Your link doesn't work?
How can the Manatee lose, when all this legislation does is MAKE the FFWCC take input from the Local Manatee Protection committees?
We, locals, know more about the Manatees in our area than the STM Club, who are based in Maitland Fl. That's about a far away as you can get from Manatee habitat. The local STM club rep doesn't even come to the local meetings anymore because they don't want to hear anything/anybody who questions their tactics or data?

Fixed my link.
I don't see the STM on the other side of your fight...I see the manatee as the defendent..
All in all it is good to see the little guy make a matter what the cause..I hope that we all can watch the manatee numbers hold steady or grow in the future..If you do win your case then I hope you stay active in the issue to make sure the right things are done for the manatee..Your in it way deeper than me..
