Default Boat Collision on Old Hickory??

Just saw the late news and they reported that a "speedboat" had collided with a "runabout" and the driver of the "speedboat" was still missing. Does anyone have any more detailed info on this yet?

It baffles me on how these things happen...but I guess that's why they're called accidents I suppose. Bummer.

They are resuming the search this morning. Reports have said that his boat was only traveling at approximately 30mph. Just goes to show that even at what most of us would perceive to be a low-speed accident, there can still be deadly results. RIP

Prayers to all involved.
Accidents like this always make me wonder, aside from being under the influence, if it was lack of attention or possibly the operator was already incapacitated with a medical problem. I have been on more than a few car accidents (Volunteer EMT) where the driver of the vehicle had a condition that caused them to crash.

I believe they were leaning towards that . They were still dragging late yesterday.
