A performance 40 can hold quads, no problem. Evinrude used these boats when the FICHT first came out as a test platform. Look at performancepowerboats.com

Is the hull related to Don Smith boats at all? I know Don's boats are his proprietary inboard system, but the hull lines are similar. http://www.smithboats.com/
