Default early SSM drive res. bottle

Hey what do you guys think of this for a drive res bottle? It is for a boat that has SSM 5's that had cracked and leaking bottles. The Merc parts are like $120 each. I have about six dollers in each one of these and it is the exact same size as the Merc one's, They are thicker and fit the bracket perfect. Got the bottles at Meijers and used an industrial bulkhead fitting in the bottom, i just schit canned the star washer and used a flat fiber washer with a bit of silicone. Maybe i'll whip up a Merc sticker on my plotter to put on it

Hey Dave,
I just order some blue "bling" ones (42 oz.) from Revolution Marine for my top gun with #6's. They are $199 each. The merc ones certainly look like they would be functional!! It's all in what you want.

.....but for $6, I'd go with what you have there!!!!!!!!

water bottles, right? some of the better ones are Lexan so as not to break when dropped and should be darn near bulletproof - good luck - Jeff
