NEVER use harsh chemicals on your vinyl!! As one said, a majic eraser with some water, then follow up with 303 to protect it. Nothing makes it look better.

We used Clorox Clean-up for 8 years on our white vinyl and never had problems. We conditioned the vinyl a few times a year also.

Magic Erasers are a must.

Swipes, Magic Eraser, SoftScrub w/bleach in order of increasing strength. Use a protectant like 303, particularly after SoftScrub.

Clean it on a regular basis, even if it doesn't look dirty.

We've had great results with the Mr. Clean majic eraers and follow it up with Swipes. If it's already pretty clean.....JUST SWIPE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! They clean and condition the vinyl.

"Roll-Off", great product. Not always easy to find. I do know that West Marine has it though...

simple green has alkalides in it. not a good idea. Put some on your hands and don't rinse it off. It will burn/crack your skin. Mix up some diluted simple green and put it on your lawn. Noting will grow there for about 3 years.

Soft scrub with bleach. Use a small amount on a brush scrub it in then let it sit for 5 minutes and rinse it off. It works great

do hot use Chloride chemicals ( cleach, Chlorox, etc)

as told by a chemist friend. chloride cleaners break down vinyl ( poly vinyl CHLORIDE)

it opens up teh pvc molecules. it gets clean at first, but thes broekn down molecule chains colelct dirt and it is a never ending cycle
ever notice how often you need to reclean the bvinyl when using chlorox? that is why. I used it on my first boat until I learned this.

I have the best luck with 3m vinyl cleaner myself
