I guess that is a good thing, but it pizzes me off the people that haven't payed in $600 in a lifetime are reaping the benefits once again.

Unfortunately, I'm not close to not qualifying for the check. The $1800 was gone in a hurry. $600 drive repair/service, $350 boat fuel, $850 boat insurance.

I heard the cap is 75k/year...Is that correct?

I did get a letter that stated I made too much to receive the rebate. Like mentioned above most on this forum will not see that money.

Remember that the Government does not make money. They take yours and my money and dispurse it back out as they see fit. I want to know why they have all our extra money to begin with? We are stupid in this country for allowing our government to get so large and so powerful.

Government is only supposed to protect us the tax payer not the spotted owl.

The short answer is they don't. It will have to be borrowed and next year all us taxpayers who didn't get refunds will have to pay interest on this money and some day our kids will have to pay back the principle. Republicans used to say all the Democrats do is tax and spend. Now the Republicans are one upping with their own program called borrow and spend.
