Default Boat help

When running the boat tends to lean to the stbd side, the faster I go the more trim tab I have to use. The drives are at the same level. Any thoughts?

Are your drives counter rotating?

They should be counter rotating. The props should spin in opposite directions, probably outward. If they don't, this is likely cause.

Griff, I understand that if they are spinning in the same direction this would cause the boat to act this way. If I have a left and right prop on and they spun in the same direction would this not rob me of a lot of speed?

How about posting what boat and driveline as well as anything else you can describe your setup by? If you had "left and right" props on same-rotating drives, you'd be going in very small circles. Leaning would be the least of it.

Not if you were trying to go in a circle. I think what he is trying to tell you is to make sure your props turn in opposite directions.

I suspect you have a hull problem, like a bad hook, or you have a bad gimbal ring(s).

Sounds like you might have a hook in the hull, or something in the gelcoat/paint to slow the strbd side. Also possible that the RPM's are out of sink.
Stupid question may be , but "props are same pitch"??
