Eliminator resurrection/ update/rerig

I thought you guys would like to see some before and after pics of an Eliminator I recently finished re-rigging for an OSO member. With the exception of the paint and upholstery, everything else was replaced to bring the boat out of the 80's and into this century.:D
It recieved 2 new 300xs Mercs with new wiring harnesses, IMCO full hydraulic steering, and Bob's jack plates on the back. The dash got a custom overlay of real carbon fiber that I layed up myself. This was my first attempt at it. I had read a few articles and saw a few videos on it and when I couldn't find a piece long enough, I decided to make it myself. I actually layed up an entire 4' x 8' sheet. I have quite a bit left if anyone is interested. I also shot the dash piece with clear since the epoxy resin doesn't have any UV inhibitors. Without the clear, it would eventually start to turn yellow. The dash also got Monster Livorsi gauges, Northstar GPS, Merc Smartcraft Vesselview, Livorsi billet throttle and shift, Stainless Marine heads up indicator, etc. A few other things include 3 new Odyssey batteries, onboard battery charger, new stereo, etc. Here are a few before pics. Enjoy. Eddie |
