Hye Michael:

This is my 6th ocean going boat and I would never be out withoutr long range VHF. My last boat was a 59" Marquis. I just haven't a chance to installed it yet.

I love it! That will be my next one!
Is it 496 mags or HOs? Bravo 3s? or 1s?

Congrats on the new boat, and I don't think you're suppose to run your engines over 3,500 RPMs with the Capt' call exhaust closed. Might want to check your owner's manual.
good luck.

I believe you need to open Corsa @ 3000....it was a surprise to me as well when I read my owner's manual for my Cobalt 272 that i had to break in last year...those 496 HOs are such great engines. Great power and reliability! Although, I must admit, I wouldn't hate a 525 with a Bravo 3 XR either!!!:evilb:

Just got verification from Cobalt and Mercury engineering that I can run the Captains Call at any RPM and at any time. That's from the horses mouth.
