Those old Scarab 38's were nice running and well handling boats.

Post some shots of the engine bay and rigging. I'll forward them to Bobby and see if he recognizes it.

Where in Michigan did you get the boat? I remember seeing an all white KV for sale a year ago, but not sure if it was the same boat.

Love the KV's...Great classy lines that wont ever date. Awesome running boat. A buddy out here has one with staggared big power and #5's on it. Racing bolster set up, no cabin. It's a MONSTER!! He wrenches on it himself. If you need his number for anything I can get it to you.

I just picked up this boat. Im curious on its history. All I know is it came from Michigan. I was told on another site that this is the old Race Rock pace boat that Bobby Moore owned back when. Its a 1988 38' KV Scarab Merc 420's and TRS Drives.
Here are some pics I took from my shop. If anyone has anymore Info please post Away!! |
If this is Bobby Moores old boat does anyone know what happened to it?? If he sold it It looks like it has been untouched and outside with no cover for the last 10 years.
I recently just out batteries in the boat and fresh fuel in it and the motors fired right up!!! I was amazed I only had them running for a minute or so had no water running through them, but they sound great. |

It's so odd seeing an all-white boat.
Wouldn't want one any other way. Congrats on the new ride, Batty! |
