Thank you Sunseeker for the warm welcome. The weather was gorgeous today. Dont mean to rub it in, but you did ask. Definately a boating day. Some of us have already started taking our boats out to the local lakes here. We even went to the river last month (it was a little chilly for being Feb).

We went to the LA Boat show today. It was a great show, and met some new people from the boards.

MissHBjet came from my boyfriends name HBjet. We live in Huntington Beach (HB), and we have a jet boat, Hence MissHBjet. Its not an Off Shore boat, but its definately a Hot Boat. Its also our first boat.

BTW...this board sure does get a lot of traffic.

OK... Speed Girl..

I like anything with speed (boats, cars, men, trucks, quads.....) And I was born a girl so.... I put it together and got "Speed Girl".... And Boat girl was taken...:p ;) :)

Mine's just my first name. I was on another board that asked that we not hide behind screen names at the time I joined OSO. If I had to change it, I think I'd be "Beak Boat Girl".

I'm a preschool teacher and this is what the kids call me. It is common in preschool for the children to address the teacher by their fist name with "Miss" added to to it. Pretty soon my friends started calling me MissAmy, so when I joined OSO that's what I decided on.

Reason we chose our screen name
 

After a few beers the girls that hang out on my boat (and myself) have been known to break out the cowgirl hats. Friends started referring to as the cowgirls and that is how I got my name. Anyway, I'm not a real true cowgirl...it's just a party thing. :)

I used to be known on this board as the APBA BatGirl. That user name is no longer used. Someone was posting with that name acting as if they were me. Now that I have my own home computer with no one else able to access it I just use my own name. Was very hesitant to post for a long time because of that reason.
