Ok... Here is my question: I keep hearing Cat Killer got beat but also that she broke. I wanna know if CK broke before or after the first bridge. Props to both boats, BTW.:ernaehrung004:

It took 155 to 157 to catch and pass the Cat Killer. He was running strong after he got passed and broke trying to stay with the Skater.Oh and by the way Reggie was in the helicopter telling them where the Skater was passing them so they coincidently moved in front of them when they tryed to pass twice

so the skater runs 160, Kat killer has been clocked in a race at over 180. mmmm

The difference is the skater cruises at 160 and the cat killer is all strung out. How fast you go for a moment doesn't mean as much as how fast for an extended period.

What do you figure? The motors are good for one hard hour. I guess they go in and out of the boat like:food-smiley-007:

I guess you are not familiar with the run or the area. We all idle out from Liberty Landing and start just shy of the GW Bridge, then run up to the TZ Bridge and continue up the Hudson river. The GW to the TZ is about a 15 1/2 mile run, in which most boats run their fastest. So pretty much breaking before the GW would be they broke idling up the Hudson or broke right at the start.
