Yeah, another blown summer on the Chain. If I had left my boat on the lift, it probably would have floated past your house by now, on its way over the dam.

That sucks. Atleast your house and dock aren't getting beat up by the open water. This was our house last year. Second pic just barely shows the dock. It might as well of been in the middle of the lake.

our local lake is so flooded that they announced immediately no more boat traffic on the lake until further notice. That includes anyone that tries to move their boat to the launch to remove it from the lake. Some people want to take their boat out of the water and it is not allowed.

On Grass Lake a 5 acre chunk of bog broke away and has been floating all over the lake. Right now the Agency hired large barge boats to push it out of the way. In four hours they are halfway across the lake.
Notice Blarney Island to the left.

Update: The boats lost it. The wind was too much and they gave up. In 30 minutes it floated back to the SE corner of the lake in front of Mutiny.
