Has anyone ever heard of Areo marine boats? Af friend of mine is looking at one for sale. Its a 24 foot F2 type boat unfinished cuddy . The HIN is AR0240010785 any help would be nice. used to be offshore race boat supposedly. it does have a 160 gal belly fuel tank.

Made in Michigan, they went by many names Lancer, Marine Dynamics, Areo, and Awesome. They ranged in size from 24,' [27' Magnum copy] and a 31'. The Awesome were manly cat's. The glass work was ok but many had pine for stringers, most had marginal rigging from the factory. The cat's were some what better. Do a Aero search here on OSO for more info. Awesome today is under a new owner, and is redoing the whole lne of cat's. The pic's are of the 27' Magnum copy.
