Is it smart to buy a boat now?

I bought my first boat almost two seasons ago and just sold it. I have never wanted to buy another one so bad in my life. Now I just need to be patient and search. Don't be nervous. Be wise with your choice and if you are not 100% happy you will be able to move it quickly. Just my thoughts. And Clay, always a nice looking crew!!!

All I know is that waiting to see what the market is going to do isn't getting me out on the water.
If you are looking in that range the worst thing that could happen would be lose a few grand as the market continues to decline. If you are planning on keeping the boat for several years you are going to lose money anyways.
I'd pull the trigger and get out on the water - life isn't a dress rehersal.

I grew up with several boats in my family and view it as a must-have item. What's summer without boating?
If you want to boat in the '08 season, now is a great time to buy. If you want to air on the side of caution and miss all the fun this season, then wait until the fall/winter to buy.

Love it.
Boating is not an investment. If you commit to it and want one it is always the best time.
Buying in November saving $15k and missing a summer is sh!t.
Life is short go out earn it and spend it having fun.
Following the crowd is not for me anyway, why end up in an Accord at the public pool in other people kid's piss....
