Ken - I agree with you to an extent, but you weren't even here for some of the best days. I know, some will say I'm living in the past.
But, you have some of the spirit of the old days, the guys that made this board what it is. I'm not including myself in that bunch, but I learned from them the "flavor of the board".
That is what makes it fun.

I see a few "old guys" coming out now to bring it back, and I'm confident it will get back - because of these "old guys" getting more involved.
Let's face it.
It's not fun seeing anyone get screwed on a deal - but it sure is fun calling the guy out, and having his phone #, address, DOB, marital status, and the fact if he's circumsided or not posted (OK the last thing we don't need to know, but, the people here can find that out if you want).
It's not fun seeing someone boast something unrealistic - but it's entertaining.
Photo-shop is always fun - and a good sense of humor can make it even better.
Real photo's that are embarassing are even funnier - especialy when it pizzes aomeone off.
That's what's fun about this place.
Gated would make it boring.
But, I agree, maybe there needs to be an "Officer's Lounge" to get away from the nonsense at times.

The key is to know who that guy is, and get him working on your side...But, Mr. Wunderfool already knew that.

There's still lots of good info, advice and people willing to help you...congratulate you...or lend an ear if you need one. But days [like today] are fun - it's like going to the library and finding that somebody snuck a few comic books or girlie magazines in the stacks...:D If it's not fun, why do it?

Gated community...That's funny sh!t

It somewhat of a "private club"...people arrive on probationary status and if they are deemed not to fit they are removed from the premises. :drink:
