That was probably Too Old's Pantera you saw last fall. It sold in like 5 days to Thirsty Turtle. I was also interested in it, then I ended buying HotDuck's 96 Pantera with a single 525sc. I'm actually glad I didn't buy Too Old's as I preferred to get a single. You just have to wait and keep looking. I also looked at a couple Sunsations and they are very nice boats. The main draw back of the Sunsations was a much smaller cockpit than the Panteras. Also, the ride of the Pantera is fantastic. Happy hunting

I also looked at hot ducks boat, how do you like that boat? how fast does it GPS, I only have ridden in my buddy's 24' pantera and like it. Currently I have a 25 Checkmate with a 502 and want a little more boat! It runs 71 on gps I sure don't want to go any slower I know panteras are heavy so you need alot of HP to get big speed I would love to go upper 70's, How does thirsty turtle like that boat? is that on the pantera web page cause I saw it there? Think he would sell?

I HAVE A 1999 28' WITH A 5-MAN BOLSTER AND A HALF CABIN. THE INTERIOR IS BRAND NEW AND THE BOAT IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. IT HAS A 509 MERLIN BLOCK WITH A BDS 8-71 BLOWER. IT HAS ABOUT 700HP ON 5 POUNDS OF BOOST. THE DRIVE IS A BRAVO-1 WITH IMCO UPPER AND LOWER GEARS. THE ENGINE AND DRIVE HAVE ABOUT 20HR'S ON THEM. THIS IS THE LIGHTEST 28 THAT PANTERA EVER BUILT AND WILL DO 87-88 ON GPS. THE BOAT IS SITTING ON A SOUTH FLORIDA TRAILER. IT IS HARD TO FIND A 28 FOOT BOAT THAT WILL DO CLOSE TO 90MPH THAT'S ONLY 3 YEARS OLD FOR $60,000. YOU JUST FOUND ONE!
GIVE ME A CALL ANY TIME (610)742-0078.

Just got it in December, so the only time I had in it was about an hour of test time. Hotduck said the best GPS he had was 72mph. TT got his a little earlier in the fall and seemed to love it. I think he said his top speed was around 70. I'm 99.99999999% sure TT won't sell. Like me, he's all geared up for a summer with a new ride.

Wassup,

Hope you find your Pantera 28. Great boats at a great price don't come around too often. I feel lucky as hell to get Too Olds Pantera. It's a 1994 that had been stored as a bare hull until the summer of 2000. It was then fitted out with a 2000 interior and twin 454 Mags. It went for well under $44,000. It was the best buying experience I have ever had. Great guy, Great boat!

I've had limited time in the boat, sea trialed it with Too Old in South Carolina and when I brought it back to Minnesota it was too damn cold to get a lot of boating in. Fred said the boat GPS'ed at 72.something. I've seen 68 in flat water. The boat responds to trim alot different than my Baja 240.

Good luck on your search! I'll keep a lookout for you also!
