looks like a step to me alsoOriginally Posted by sean stinson
No step, boat used to be named "Lunatic Fringe" and belonged to a gentleman by the name of Joe Lancore of HI...It had Gentry Turbo's in it and was rigged by Bobby Moore!!!! It then ended up in the Carmody stable as "Texas T"...Anyway Gary Garbrecht had the molds for sale for quite sometime and last I heard they went to someone in the Sanford FL area
The step was added later. The original boat, I am pretty sure and would be willing to bet money on it, never had a step!!
Let me rephrase...I have pictures of the molds and in the mold I see no lines for the step...I rode in the original boat and was almost positive that it had no step in it but again could be wrong
I remember that lunatic fringe , crazy paint job I think that champion marine had it listed one time for sale
Guys
Dose anyone have other pic's of the 42 Aronow
I did not know that Lunatic Fringe and Texas T were the same boat????????
Please post pic's and info about theses boat,

Sean - the old molds you are talking about were bought by a guy named Beau - his oso name is: rbr2328. He bought these from Gary G.'s estate. They are in GA now...
The list boat on ebay is beautiful, could you not use that boat to build new molds? And that would give you room to make updates and modifications for today's market. If there is a market!

I think I remember reading in powerboat or hotboat that the 28 ' mold went to commander boats onthe west coast several years ago. Also the 34-35 went to magic powerboats.

I'd love to find the 24 Squadron moldsOriginally Posted by corrado
Somewhere I heard Don Aronow sold some Squadron mold/s to someone in the Syracuse, Indiana Lake Wawasee area. I wondered who got that mold back in the day and whatever became of it and why Syracuse, Indiana Lake Wawasee?
