Good point.

Is it that those who buy them get bored with such beautiful machinery that quick?
Do they have so much money that they just sell them so they can have the newer model?
Is it because gas got so expensive?

Someone fill me in?
Thats a good question, but I was in that boat (no pun intended). I just bought my 2007 Sunsation 32 MCOB from a guy, it only had 18 hours on it!! I got an unbelievable deal.

Building a custom boat can be entertaining, However... Mine was a headache.. but it turned out well and now the fun started.. That's being said... there are two reasons for a quick sale.. Just like in the Real Estate market when homes are "flipped" quick cash... The boats are not titled,, warrantee is in tacked.. and the new boat is underway.. It's cash flow.. Mine will be up for sale in Nov. after the KW run.. but for different reason... My shoulder and back can't hande the "fast boating" anymore.. I thought I could get away with it with a "wave crusher" boat.. but my beat up bod. saying noooo. So here we go.. 08 boat will have under 100 hours and will have to go for some cruiser, or a cannoe.. (pout)

I think the manufacturers (Cigarette, outerlimits, etc..) give the repeat clients a smoking deal where they can use the boat and sell it and lose little money.
