we missed you nort! Get up here for the next run. Gonna do a little lunch run to ventura with a few boats sat if you want to roll

Still licking my wounds from the last weekend out! :D

• Got a noise ticket on the lake
• Missing our throwable LP with 30' foot line - on the lake, had to go back to the store to get one
• Broke a drive a about 7 miles from the marina
• Got lost on the lake......so very low with many new islands!
• Ruined phone in swimming pool
• One bimini pole had the screws pulled out
• Ripped some bunk carpet on newly redone trailer
• Blew a radiator hose on I-15 at Baker (114 degrees out)
• Got help to move boat to an impound yard (thanks Dave/Mike!)
• AAA towed the Excursion to "a shop"
• Hitched a ride to Barstow where we hitched a different ride (thanks Kevin)
• Didn't have house keys.....had to break a window to get in
• Head back up two days later and haul everything back home
• Got to pay $5.11/gallon for Premium Gas in Baker :)

There was actually a bit of wind and some cloud cover in between the harbor and the islands. But once out at the Islands it was AWESOME!! And the Islands block the wind. Rough on the way over...Smooth once there. Really rough on the way back:eek::drink: I looked over and lost site of Dan's (H20toie) 40SS Formula due to the sheets of water spraying out the sides of the hull on the trip back. Just wish I would've snapped a pic. But I was dealing with the water myself and 4 15/16 year olds on board:D

It's like another world out there! Only about 25 miles from our home port.
