MikeStar... That photo was taken about ten minutes from my house. Its at Banermans Castle on the Hudson River. I Drove right past it and was wishing that I had a camera. To bad that photo wasn't a few hours earlier when the tide was down. It perfectly sat on the pillions about 5 ft into the air. LOL :p great photo where did you get it.

My Dad ,who is 76, spent time on an aircraft carrier in the Navy and has, over the years, told the story about the wave that washed him down the deck and almost over board but for that ring in the deck that he grabbed onto. That had to be some big water!

As to the first boat on this thread that hit the daymarker in Maryland, it is all repaired including rebuilt 502's and is for sale in NJ. The boat is beautiful and priced right. Send E-mail for details.

They "fixed" THIS?: http://communities.msn.com/Powerboat...to&PhotoID=150

Pardon me if I'm a little skeptical....

Amen Chuck - I'm thinking I'd pass on "good as new" Fountain 38 SC...

A story in the local mag called the Soundings last year showed this pic and basically said alcohol involved as he left a waterside bar after dark with a passenger and the driver jumped ship and swam away to avoid the DUI. Needless to say he still was hammered but I forget the exact charge and the fines that were rendered...

Yes beleive it or not , that fountain was fixed ! It was totaly gutted , All the damaged area cut out ,and repaired with the best materials and the newest technology. The owner used it last year and is looking forward to this year . It runs straight and true !
I am surprised you guys didn't beleive it could be done . HOw many race boats have you seen run right through another and tear the hole bottom out and fix it that night and race the next day . Or see a cat rip out the side of a sponson and be fixed to race the next day . The better shops do this kind of work all the time . Kind of like the big yatchs when they stretch them or the sport fish boats that they add 5 or 10 feet to the cockpit . If you guys need a boat fixed, you should think about calling this guy at F.A.S. Boats 908-996-6160 He did another one for him self too. It was a wellcraft I think . He ran it for 7 years without a crack or anything ! He is real good at what he does ! The real fiber glass guys CAN do this stuff ! I'll try to get a finished picture of it on here .
