KWB Is the rumour true?
Dude I hear there might be a new toy in your future. Patriotic? How was the show, let me know what you did. NK:D

the rumor is true!
I put a deposit on a 42' Tiger while in Miami. I think we spoke about it, it's the Tiger with Merc 900SC and #6's. The engines are at Innovation right now being checked out (valve job). They dyno'd the motors yesterday - 907HP! Should be plenty....
The boat only has 62 fresh water hours and shows like new. I'm going back to Miami next week to sea trial the boat - which should be a blast. I'll probably stay for a week or so and do some boating before I have the boat brought back to Cali. Do you remember how Nauti Kitty had the intercoolers rigged? Did you have separate water pick-ups and sea strainers for the intercoolers, or did they tap off of the Bell Housing to feed the intercoolers? Hope all's well with you. Ken |
Thanks, nice meeting you too. Miami was such a blast!!!!!! (expensive though)
|
Kenny-
What do you mean expensive? Isn't it normal to pay $240 for each bottle of Grey Goose, and $10 per Red Bull? :( :( :( |
Nortie - the bar tab was tough enough, but the bill for the new ride - ouch!
|
Well.....isn't that why you brought that briefcase full of $100's with you to the boatr show? Gezzzz, you were just asking for trouble!!!
And...............have you talked to you know who? Oh yeah.....I meant take via body language? |
KWB,
congrats on the purchase....I knew you'd make the right choice ;) :D Tank |
I'm jealous! The 42 Tiger is sweet! Got any pics?
|
Ken- Nice! good luck with the new boat. i hope the sea trial is better than imagined. sorry i didn't get a chance to make my way through the crowd to introduce myself at the miami show. perhaps next time....

I'll post some pics when I get back from Florida. I spoke to Tres Martin (great guy), we're going to take the boat to "Lake X" and do the sea trail there and test out some props - which will be cool - (I've always wanted to see that place).
I guess if you have Mercury power there is no charge to take the boat there for testing? (You just pay for it up front when you buy their stuff). Pics to follow...... |

KWB Way to go on the new purchase. I can not waite to see it :D:D
Keep us posted JOn |
Congrats on the new boat!!
|
KWB Nicely Done you will love it. I had my innercoolers run after the main sea strainers. I was just talking about this yesterday with skater and they have gone to the same setup eliminating the extra strainers. Nice paintjob, I saw this boat leaving cig one day and I thought it was sweet then. Have fun in Miami maybe I will see you down there. NK:D

DEEPVEE...so you would buy a "reggie rocket", which is a production build chevy, versus the "Cigarette" which is a hand built machine, like a Mercedes? Why a cheap thrill when you can own the REAL THRILL?
|
Parnell - give me a call bro.
