Is this the sort of boat you are talking about? Saw this at the antique boat show in Clayton, NY last summer.

the arkansas traveler has the rear wings and "tail lights" that i think you are looking for. it has the quad tail lights and they look similar to a vette or cadillac lights of the same vintage. also i think some early glasstrons had the rear wings. good luck, small boats are a lot of fun especially when you take something not so nice and put some time into and it turns out sweet!
