What colors has Mercruiser used to paint their outdrives

My parents were looking at a late 80's Sea Ray the other day on Ebay and the outdrive was painted white. The owner said it was an original Mercruiser engine and outdrive not a OMC. What colors has Mercruiser painted their outdrives?

Originals(early 60's) were white, went to black in mid 60's,been black every since except for the SeaRays you mentioned,when some stupid marketing guy got the idea to paint SeaRay engines(both Mercruiser and Mercury outboards) white for a couple of years. I assume they fired him,dumb move.
