No, I don't think so. We have run the turbine MTI well into the 2-teens without incident. Think it was a combination of variables including prop rotation, different rudder, side wind at cove, etc. Also, we were running those one-off alky engines more as R&D than anything else. Even with the handling issue, I was very happy with what we learned.

damn....i just got closing docs and have a customer going to be here at 3:30...i just thought about it and i really dont have a way to record....i don't have a vcr anymore....what options are available to record something now days...

Very observant! JT & I actually braced for a barrel roll on that run. About 3/4 way down felt like we were on rails when all of a sudden the entire boat lifted. Then, without notice, the ass-end started to come around. I tried to correct with the rudder but there was absolutely no response. Slid through the trips at an angle and ended up by the spectator fleet. Checked GPS recall which read 191 ...
