CARFAX - can somebody help me out??
 

I know there are several dealers on here (at least there were).
Can someone run a Carfax for me? It's on an '05 Avalanche 2500 8.1 ltr.

BECAREFUL CARFAX isn't 100%. I purchased a car with a clean bill of health and a police friend of mine ran the vin to show it was hit in the rear with $1,800 in damages, that never showed up on carfax

Anything you suggest I do above and beyond CARFAX from your experience??
I remember reading about you having all kinds of trouble with title and other things with that car.
The truck I'm looking at is on E-bay through a dealer. It's in VA, and I'm just south of Cinci in KY (not the jelly:grinser010:) so it's gonna be a full day haul to pick it up.
I don't want to wind up dropping (to me) large coin on something sight unseen and have it turn out to be a piece of crap. The pics look super clean, and the mileage is low.
Any suggestions of what else to look for from 500ish miles away??

That makes me feel a little better.
Almost looks like it's been a corp. vehicle all it's life, and was probably transfered from one location to another (NC to SC).
Good sign that it has been regularly maintained - No??

Carfax only reports what wa sent to them. And thats all. I bought a 04 Durango and know there is more to the story which carfax reported. havinf a freind in the P D really helps. Good luck with it

I am looking for something now and have to get it before winter. The problem is I can't make up my mind on what to buy some econo box or what I really want in a SUV.(full size) I know there are good deals out there to be had now but what does anyone think the market will be in a month or 2? Can anybody get the carfax info or is it just through dealers as I may have to look at many cars or trucks untill I can make up my mind. I hate little cars by the way.
