24 vs 25

I am kind of new to the cats. I have owned several allisons and looking to go to something larger figured this would be the best place to get some info on them. I'm down to the 24 skater or 25 motion any real advantages to either. Thanks for any help

I think a 25 motion is the same as a 24 skater?

the real deal skater, I think watching them race in the 90s the 24ft skaters were faster, I have been in one and chit my pants when we went over boat wakes that I would slow down for in a bigger v, he hit at 70 to 80mph:D and the 30ft spectra that he bought and raced in P class with apba in 98, 99. was even more impressive in 4 foot seas off of block island to newport area at 90 to 100:D. but see which has the newer motors would be another way to look at it. Good luck I always thought a 24 skater with a raise transom for a single big block would be cool:D:D:D

Skater, Motion, and Liberator all have the same bottom

Sound like I may be good to go either way. I was a little curious if one was any faster motor for motor but now i fell better about either one. Thanks for the imput. I even thought the liberator had a center pod and less freeboard always learning something. Wildman love your paint work assuming you are the same wildman of s/f

Yup, das me! I have a new 25 Liberator for sale with used 300 Promax motors. Click here for pics: http://liberatorfl.tripod.com/id19.html
It's the 2nd boat down.

Sweet boat wildman. Doesnt Trick powerboats also build a skater splash? 21'?

I would consider the fiberglass fuel tank issue.
