Terrible attempt to replicate the original paint on the port side (original on the starboard with the bonefish logo). I remember when that boat crashed in Tampa.

There was a thread started about a month or so ago last time they tried to sell it.

And what the heck is with that green???

Guy is a salvage dealer (according to what he sells on ebay). Boat is Chris Parker's, the one that blew over killing him and injuring the two girls with him.

J/S - yep, you are correct. One of my wife's good friends was one of the girls who were injured. Sad tragedy.

I cannot believe that the boat was repaired and is now for sale.

Unfortunately, I have a few photos. These are from the media coverage.

It's hard to believe they are the same boat. He does indicate the boat is not necessarily 'merchantable'. But most people would simply perceive that as a non-trasnferable warranty.

(I'm not sure if the third photo is the same boat, but it came from the Spectre "owner's" photo site around the same time.

what you can't see from these photos is how the rear quarterpanel was gouged out. There was also substantial delamination along one of the forward sponsons. A testament to the boat considering it didn't sink in spite of the large opening.

it's not necessarily bad that someone makes money by rebuilding and reselling. But it's spooky to think that the next owner will eventually figure out they are not simply buying a boat that might have sunk, but flipped, delammed and a person lost their life.

Imagine sitting with a bunch of poker runners when someone finally tells you the true history of your boat.
