In Stonington, CT there is a rep yard that auctions boats off. www.northeastboatsales.com

www.yachtauctions.com is the company mentioned in the newspaper article/ National Marine Liquidators.

N O T E : A virus was popping up on this site three weeks ago when a Powerplay was discussed on OSO and everyone went to the site to check it out. Seems ok now.

All I'll say is that it's not limited to one bank.

I'd like to find a nice 300 too. Wait it out.
Enjoy your boat.

It costs the same or more to fix up an old one so if you're a sucker for old boats, given that boats turn to crap every 10 years give or take, you're out of luck anyway.

You don't want to buy anything right now. The boat you buy now for .70/dollar will be going for .25/dollar in the fall

Told ya :) :) :drink:

So I guess the best thing to do is wait it out till fall time and see where the market goes from there.I was just going to make a offer on a 36 Concept hull with no power maybe I will wait cant get to engines till Oct anyway.

Don't think the 26 year old Pantera market has been affected by the "repo" boats. Now if you owned a 05-08 Formula you just got killed by 30% due to the 200 repo Formulas that recently became available.

When talking to the Formula people at the APBA Gold Cup Races the number they had were 20 to 25 boats, not 200.
