Might Need a boat in Miami looked at?
 

A buddy of mine is looking at a boat in Miami that we would like someone to look at possibly. Either a reputable Marina we could pay or maybe just someone in the area to give thier opinion.

We're thinking possible scam or maybe just beat to chit?

It is a 280SS Formula. we don't have the location yet. just puttin out the feelers.

Pretty sure it is a Scam. The guy is in the military getting a divorce. The boat trader ad says the boats in Ohio, But the Guy says it was recently moved to Miami. "The boat is sealed up and ready of shipment stored in a warehouse unavailable for viewing." The boat is an 04 280SS for under 29k books over 60k.
The guy is easy to get a hold of and swears it's legit. Sure. Just send money to his escrow account. he'll ship the boat the Michgan for free, If you don't like it he'll take the boat back. You're money will be in the escrow account for 10 days for you to decide to keep the boat.
Yeah Right the money would be in the escrow account for 15 seconds!!!

I told my buddy too good to be True. If you can't see it, Don't buy it.

I'd send him an email asking how he will ship it, five bucks says his reply is "FedEx. Other question would be who sets up the escrow account..

Seems like these scams are all Ebay and the Trader..

I had the exact thing happen to me when I was calling on a awesome deal for a car for my son.
I was told that since he was in the Military that the government would ship it free.
I told him I would be in that town the next day and would check it out and have cash in hand. He never got back to me.

Damn, I don't get to go look a a cool boat? :( :(
