DAMN! Been busy and haven't been on in a while. Nice read - the combo of NorTech & Turbine Marine seems to produce some of the most incredible machines on the water today. A BIG congratulations to both companies & to the boats owner for putting together something staggering! Those speed #'s call to mind Xtreme Xhibit and its GPS read out posted here yrs. ago. Despite an economy that's less than lackluster, Nor-Tech continues to push the envelope and innovate while many other manufacturers are working on cutting operating & production costs, leaving "the envelope" and "innovation" on the back burner. And with friends like Turbine Marine & Mr. Arruda - FORGET ABOUT IT! You keep forging on, straight ahead, and kicking a$$ like there's no tomorrow. Great job, guys!

Fart=speed so the meaning is a speedmonster/devil. The boat can in essence run on used "pommes frites oil", therefor it is environmentally friendly (green profile).

I saw tis boat doing the record run. Pretty cool. Turbines are always sensatuional to see and hear... Trond is good at idling with them too, using the disk brakes and the crash boxes simoultaneously in the docks...

I sometimes think about what the history to every boat will be...? In it's long life. :-)

I want to know everything about turbines in powerboats Arruda. I think about it every time when going to bed....
